The Nigeria Police Force has arrested Adeniyi Adeyemi, the self-acclaimed Director-General of the alleged Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council (PFIPC), following a warrant issued by the Federal High Court in Abuja.
The arrest comes after Adeyemi reportedly failed to appear before the court for his scheduled arraignment on charges bordering on forgery, fraud, impersonation, and related offences. Security operatives later apprehended him at a hideout in Osun State in compliance with the court order.

Justice Mohammed Umar of the Federal High Court had earlier issued a bench warrant after Adeyemi failed to appear in court to answer an eight-count criminal charge filed against him by the Nigeria Police Force.
According to prosecutors, the alleged offences include forgery of official government documents, impersonation, and fraud connected with the operations of the purported Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council (PFIPC).
