The Lagos International Film and Cinema Convention (LIFACC 2026) has officially opened submissions for its highly anticipated LIFACC Film Festival, inviting filmmakers from around the world to showcase their creative works in Lagos.
The film festival will take place July 15–16, 2026, at the Silverbird Galleria and Silverbird Cinemas, Lagos, bringing together filmmakers, cinema exhibitors, distributors, policymakers, and film enthusiasts for two days of cinematic celebration and industry dialogue.
According to the festival’s founder, Theophilus Akatugba, submissions are now open to filmmakers across the globe who wish to present their stories on one of Africa’s growing platforms for film exhibition, film distribution, and cinematic storytelling.
